About Jeffery Hill
Jeffrey R. Hill, P.E., is the founder of REN Engineering and Planning and a licensed professional engineer in Missouri, Arkansas, and Illinois. A graduate of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, he has built his career solving complex geotechnical and structural challenges across infrastructure, transportation, rail, water, industrial, and heavy civil projects. With more than 25 years of experience, Jeff has led work involving specialty foundations, ground improvement, grouting, earth retention, forensic engineering, and construction risk management. Before founding REN, he held senior leadership roles with TCDI, Hayward Baker, and Keller. At Hayward Baker, he opened and grew the St. Louis office and later advanced to Director of Business Development for North America. He also founded Hayward Baker Rail Services and remains active in AREMA and the rail industry. Jeff has completed work in nearly every major market segment, including rail, agriculture, transportation and infrastructure, dams, levees, education, and entertainment. He is known for combining practical construction experience, strategic leadership, and sound engineering judgment to deliver solutions on challenging projects.
